Log4Shell: QUIPSY® NOT AFFECTED

An intensive review of the QUIPSY® software has revealed that it is NOT affected by the so-called “Log4Shell” security issue. QUIPSY® itself does NOT use the faulty “Log4j” library, and the version of the copies supplied in third-party products does NOT have this security vulnerability.

Security Advisory WIBU-210910-01: CodeMeter 7.30a (or newer) is included in the bug fix for QUIPSY® 2021 (and newer). To close this security gap, older QUIPSY® versions must be updated to QUIPSY® 2021 in order to obtain CodeMeter 7.30a (or newer). Windows® 7 must be updated to Windows® 10, as CodeMeter 7.30a (and newer) is no longer supported free of charge on Windows® 7 by the manufacturer WIBU Systems.
